We begin by building clarity and confidence.
You’ll learn:
How anxiety works in the brain and nervous system
Why avoidance makes anxiety stronger
How reassurance can unintentionally reinforce fear
The difference between anxiety, sensitivity, and defiance
Your child’s specific anxiety triggers (school, social, sleep, separation, performance)
By the end of Week 1, you’ll understand exactly what’s happening — and why.
Week 2: Regulating Yourself & Breaking the Anxiety Cycle
An anxious child needs a regulated parent.
We focus on:
How your nervous system impacts your child’s nervous system
Responding calmly instead of reacting
Reducing accommodation behaviors (without becoming harsh)
Stopping reinforcement patterns that keep anxiety stuck
Building confident, steady parental leadership
Sacramento parents often report that this week alone changes everything.
Week 3: Practical Tools for School, Social & Home Anxiety
This week is hands-on and strategy-based.
We develop:
Brave practice plans
Exposure support strategies
Morning and bedtime anxiety routines
Scripts for coaching instead of rescuing
Boundaries that build resilience
Plans for school refusal or social anxiety
You leave with clear, structured action steps.
