My Approach:

As a first-generation college student, I understand how overwhelming life transitions can feel, especially when you are forging a path without a clear roadmap. My journey began at community college and eventually led me to UC Davis, where I earned a Bachelor’s in Sociology with a Minor in Education. Driven by a deep passion for helping others navigate life’s challenges, I went on to complete a Master of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Career Counseling.

Throughout my career, I have supported survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, transitioning-age youth, children and teens, college students, and adults navigating complex life transitions. Today, much of my work centers on men, high achievers, creatives, musicians, athletes, and outdoors-driven individuals who carry high expectations, performance pressure, anxiety, trauma, or the weight of being the cycle breaker in their family. Many look strong and capable on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, restless, or disconnected underneath.

My work is built around three core pillars: healing trauma at the nervous system level, strengthening identity and performance without losing authenticity, and deepening relational awareness to break generational cycles.

At the core of my approach is the belief that healing begins in relationships. My style is holistic, relational, and trauma-informed, grounded in attachment theory and psychodynamic principles. As a Certified Brainspotting Professional, I am deeply passionate about Brainspotting, a focused brain-body modality that helps access and process deeply rooted emotional pain. Brainspotting allows us to work beyond insight alone and into the nervous system, where many patterns are stored. It is especially powerful for trauma, performance blocks, shame, anxiety, and identity struggles.

I integrate evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Narrative Therapy. These approaches allow us to explore thought patterns, emotional regulation, values, and the stories you have carried about yourself, while creating space to rewrite what no longer serves you.

Whether we are working through shame, rebuilding trust, breaking cycles, or learning how to ride emotion rather than outrun it, my goal is to co-create a space that feels grounded, direct, and deeply human.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy traveling, cooking, fly fishing, and spending time outdoors. Nature continues to inform and inspire my work, reminding me that growth is rarely linear but always possible.
