My Approach:

As a first-generation college student, I understand how overwhelming life transitions can feel—especially when you're forging a path without a clear roadmap. My journey began at community college and eventually led me to UC Davis, where I earned a Bachelor's in Sociology with a Minor in Education. Driven by a deep passion for helping others navigate life’s challenges, I went on to complete a Master of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Career Counseling.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals from all walks of life—including survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, transitioning-age youth, children and teens (ages 5–21), and college students. I have a special passion in working with creatives, musicians, and athletes, who often face unique pressures and emotional challenges related to identity, performance, and burnout. I find deep meaning in helping these individuals reconnect with their sense of purpose and authenticity.

At the core of my work is a belief that healing begins in relationship. My therapeutic style is holistic, relational, and trauma-informed, drawing from attachment theory, narrative therapy, art therapy, Internal Family Systems, and values-based approaches. I am extremely passionate about Brainspotting, a powerful and focused modality that helps clients access and process deeply rooted emotional pain. I find that Brainspotting opens doors to healing that traditional talk therapy sometimes can’t reach, and I love integrating it into sessions to help clients move through stuck points with compassion and clarity.

In addition to individual therapy, I also provide PC-CARE (Parent-Child Care), a brief and evidence-based intervention designed to strengthen parent-child relationships and reduce challenging behaviors. I enjoy using this model to support families in creating more connection, structure, and emotional safety in their homes.

I also incorporate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) to tailor treatment to each client’s needs.

Whether we’re exploring difficult emotions, rebuilding trust, or finding creative ways to grow, my goal is to co-create a space that invites reflection, healing, and forward movement. Outside of therapy, I enjoy traveling, cooking, fly fishing, and spending time outdoors—often drawing on my connection to nature to inform and inspire my work.
