My Approach:

“Sometimes what you’re most afraid of doing is the very thing that will set you free.” I have so much respect for you in taking this first (and likely difficult) step to seek support! I imagine what brought you here has challenged you beyond belief. Life can happen to us, for us, and sometimes at us in many ways. When we find ourselves overwhelmed, confused, stressed, or simply lost – therapy can help. I approach treatment with a cooperative, warm, reasonable, and - at times - silly attitude. Together, we focus on what brought you to treatment, and use your personal strengths to support holistic healing.

My foundations include working with individual children, young adults, adults, and older adults in identifying unhealthy behaviors, building coping skills, buffering life stressors, and encouraging a healthy sense of self. During treatment, we work together to gently uncover the parts you had to tuck away to survive, sit with uncomfortable feelings, accept, and give compassion to, each healed, in-progress, and unhealed version of you, challenge you make deep, visible changes that bring balance, and help you integrate step-by-step recovery practice into daily life with accessible, confidence-building skills. I use research-based and tailored approaches to support this process and best fit your needs. My mission involves learning about, from, and alongside people of all backgrounds in leading authentic and empowered lives. Throughout treatment, we co-create a safe, confidential, non-judgmental, validating, and consistent space as I accompany and guide you through this work. Let’s get started!
