My Approach:
Through my background working with domestic violence, sexual assault and complex trauma, I have had the privilege of accompanying individuals through various walks of life. From this, I have come to know the importance of re-centering our stories into ones rooted in self-compassion, curiosity, authenticity, internal safety, and understanding. Vulnerability and change can feel overwhelming, especially when it comes without understanding and awareness of how you got to this point. It takes courage to be here.

I believe there is no right or wrong way to be human and together, we can begin to sift through, identify and accept the ways you have survived thus far. I believe everyone has the capacity for their own healing and it is important to lean on those strengths to honor what is already within you.

Through this work I incorporate the use of Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness to support you while additionally integrating a person-centered, existential and psychodynamic lens. My hope is to help individuals cultivate self-compassion, make meaning of their experiences and personhood, improve their relationships with themselves and others, and ultimately encourage life to be more manageable, if not fulfilling.
