My Approach:

"Know all the theories, master all the techniques, but as you touch a human soul, be just another human soul."-Carl Jung

I believe therapy works best when you feel like you can genuinely be yourself. My approach is holistic and eclectic, meaning I draw from different therapeutic approaches based on who you are, what you are experiencing, and what feels most helpful for you. Therapy should not feel like someone simply telling you what to do. Instead, I see it as a collaborative process. Together, we can explore the stories you have come to believe about yourself and the world, the patterns you have developed to cope, and the ways your mind and body have learned to respond to the world around you. My hope is to help you better understand yourself, reconnect with who you are at your core, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with what truly matters to you. I also believe that some of the deepest healing happens in relationships with others.

"You have inherited a lifetime of tribulation. Take it over, make the most of it, and when you have decided you know the right way, do the best you can with it." - Murray Bowen

Our relationships can deeply shape how we see ourselves and how we move through the world. Couples and families often develop patterns of communication, conflict, distance, and connection that can be difficult to change on their own. In couples and family therapy, I work to create a space where everyone feels heard and understood while exploring the deeper experiences and patterns beneath the surface. When we begin to understand one another with more curiosity and compassion, it can become possible to create more safety, vulnerability, and genuine connection.

My foundational framework is humanistic-rooted in person-centered and Gestalt therapy; layered with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I regularly integrate mindfulness, somatic work, self-compassion practices, trauma-informed care, and creative and expressive mediums to help process emotions, find solutions, and mend relational wounds.

Above all, I am dedicated to meeting you where you are, in all your uniqueness. To understand you as a whole person: your experiences, strengths, struggles, and what's getting in the way of the life and relationships you want. It is a privilege to sit with someone who trusts me enough to share the parts of themselves that may feel difficult, painful, or vulnerable. My hope is to create a space where you do not have to navigate those things alone. Whether you are coming to therapy as an individual, a couple, or a family, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you find your own way forward.
